Ouathek Ouerfelli is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in organic synthesis and laboratory management. Ouathek has served as Laboratory Head at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) since 2004, and as an Associate Laboratory Member and Head of the Organic Synthesis Core Laboratory since 1993. Previous roles include Head of the Organic Synthesis Laboratory at MSKCC from 2004 to 2006, and Research Fellow at Suntory Ltd from 1991 to 1993, where Ouathek focused on synthesizing conformationally restricted glutamate analogues. Educational credentials include a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Organic Synthesis from Columbia University, a PhD in Organic Synthesis from Pierre and Marie Curie University, and a Maitrise EsSciences in Chemistry from Université de Monastir.
