Rich Armstrong is an experienced network security professional currently serving as a Network Security Engineer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since October 2019. In this role, Rich actively participates in the development of enterprise network designs focused on fault tolerance, security, and high availability, while optimizing network configurations across various architectures. Prior experience includes roles as a Network Analyst and Information Systems Specialist at the same institution, as well as a Software Developer at Flash Forward Messaging Inc., and an Accountant at Friedman Law Associates, PC. Rich holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Old Westbury and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo.
