Samuel de Sousa

Samuel de Sousa possesses extensive experience in healthcare information systems with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Associate Director of Application Services and LIS Manager at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since October 2016, Samuel is responsible for the implementation of the CERNER Pathnet General Laboratory Information System. Previous roles include Director of Information Systems at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where implementation of the Abbott/Inpeco Laboratory Automation System was a key project, and Director of Interface Development & Alliances at Laboratory Corporation of America, overseeing integration projects and a large development team. Samuel's background also includes significant positions at Quest Diagnostics, Montefiore Medical Center, and Northern Westchester Hospital, demonstrating a strong track record in project management, system implementation, and team leadership. Samuel holds a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Pace University.
