Gisela Guerrero

Gisela Guerrero is a skilled community organizer with extensive experience in public health and resource accessibility. Currently serving at Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope since July 2021, Gisela previously held various roles at Church Health from June 2016 to June 2021, including Chair of the Hispanic Resources Task Force, where efforts focused on supporting Spanish-speaking and undocumented patients, and Co-Chair of the Cultural Humility Task Force, enhancing staff cultural awareness. Gisela's background also includes positions as a Bilingual Wellness Education Coordinator and Bilingual Patient Service Assistant, alongside academic research roles at the University of Memphis, where research emphasized HIV prevention and community health. Gisela holds a Master of Public Health in Urban Health from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from Brown University.
