Tory C. currently serves as the Director of Instruction & Secondary Education and Interim Director of Academics at Memphis School of Excellence, with experience as a STEM Coordinator and Science Instructional Coach. Previous roles include K-5 Science Textbook Editor for Six Red Marbles, Instructional Design Consultant for Cambium Assessment, and Lead Science Instructional Designer at Teach X. Tory C. has also worked as a Science Instructional Specialist for Arkansas Teacher Corps, Student Opportunities Coordinator at KIPP Delta Public Schools, and Web Development Instructor for Kode With Klossy. Additional experience includes serving as a Visiting Fellow and Senior Learning Designer at the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation and various positions with Teach For America and Helena-West Helena School District. Tory C. holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Psychology from Virginia Tech and a Master’s Degree in Education Improvement and Transformation from Drexel University.
