Takia White is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in audience development and nonprofit management. Currently serving as the Audience Development Director at the Memphis Symphony Orchestra since August 2021, Takia has previously held various roles at Hutchison School from March 2011 to August 2021, including Director Of Development Services, Assistant Development Director, and Development Coordinator. Takia's career also includes positions at the Tri-State Defender and Visual Thunder, as well as a tenure at the Pink Palace Family of Museums as Membership Manager. Early in the career, Takia gained experience at Cumulus Broadcasting as National Sales Coordinator and Sales Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Media Studies from Alcorn State University.
