Andre E. Johnson

Andre E. Johnson is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in communication, rhetoric, and African American studies. Holding the title of Benjamin W. Rawlins, Professor of Communication at The University of Memphis since August 2004, Andre E. Johnson has progressed through various academic ranks and also serves as a visiting professor at Memphis Theological Seminary and Christian Theological Seminary. In addition to these roles, Andre E. Johnson has been a senior pastor at Gifts of Life Ministries since March 2002 and has contributed as a visiting professor at Rhodes College and American Baptist College. Andre E. Johnson earned a PhD in Communications/Rhetoric from the University of Memphis between 2003 and 2008.
