Michael Frantz

Michael Frantz, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Michael is currently the Lead Machine Learning Engineer at meMR Health, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at GoGuardian for several years, starting as a Research Scientist in 2017 and gradually progressing to become a Senior Data Scientist and then a Lead Data Scientist. At GoGuardian, their responsibilities included developing AI products, educating and developing team members, and improving data access and data-driven decision making.

Before their time at GoGuardian, Michael worked at General Assembly as a Global Instructor and Data Science Instructional Associate, contributing to the education and training of data science students. Michael also had a role as a Data Scientist and Deep Learning Engineer at CloudSight Inc. in 2017.

Michael Frantz, PhD, holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, which they obtained from 2010 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from UC Santa Barbara between 2005 and 2009.
