Sandra Olivia Zavala

Sandra Olivia Zavala is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in growth marketing, brand communications, and social media strategy. Currently serving as Head of Growth Marketing at Memrise since April 2014, Sandra transitioned the marketing approach to a growth-driven strategy utilizing the Jobs to be Done framework, focusing on user insights to drive high-impact experiments. Prior roles at Memrise include leading strategic messaging and communications, brand communications, and serving as Chief Brand Storyteller. Sandra co-founded Homies On Donkeys and has also worked as a freelance photographer, content creator, teacher, and lecturer, bringing a comprehensive background in communications, media studies, and education to diverse roles. Academic qualifications include a B.A. in Communication and Media Studies from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California.
