Martin Svestka

Martin Svestka has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Martin began their career in 1997 as a Programmer/Analyst at APP Systems, where they worked until 1999. In 1999, they joined National Instruments as a Product Support Manager, responsible for reducing support burden and educating technical support personnel. Martin held various roles at National Instruments, including Search & Navigation Program Manager, Web Globalization Program Manager, and Principal Product Manager for WCM, TMS platforms. In these roles, they managed enterprise search, navigation, SEO, and ni.com globalization strategy. Martin Svestka then transitioned to the role of Chief Product Officer at Phrase in 2019 and later became the Director of Product Management in November 2021.

Martin Svestka holds a Master's degree in Technical Cybernetics from the Czech Technical University in Prague, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at the same university from 1992 to 1995. Martin also has additional certifications in Competitive Strategy from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München (obtained in 2020), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Mountain Goat Software (obtained in April 2019), and Agile Project Management from Szinergia Kft. (obtained in 2017).
