Timo Sefcovic has a diverse work experience. Timo started their career in 2015 as an Interpreter at T.RAD for a brief period of two months. Following this, in 2015, they worked as a Language Teacher at UPLIFT for nearly a year. In 2016, Sefcovic joined the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) as an ASEM / ASEF Delegate, where they were selected out of 4000 candidates and had the opportunity to present on behalf of Asian and European youth in front of 53 heads of states. Additionally, they were chosen as one of 120 delegates for the Model ASEM 2016.

In the same year, Sefcovic also worked at Mister Group as part of the Translation/Localization team for two years. Timo further expanded their career by joining Phrase as a Junior Salesperson in 2016, and then progressed to roles such as Business Development and Sales Team Lead (APAC). Presently, they hold the role of Customer Success Manager Lead (APAC) at Phrase.

Timo Sefcovic has a diverse education history. Timo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Japanese and English Linguistics from Palacký University in Olomouc in 2015. In 2016, they participated in an exchange program at Soonchunhyang University, where they studied Korean language in the Asian Department. Timo also completed an exchange program in International Relations and Affairs at Utsunomiya University in 2013-2014. Timo went on to earn a Master's degree in English Linguistics and Japanese Philology from Palacký University in Olomouc in 2019. In 2017, they engaged in a short-term exchange program at Sogang University, focusing on Korean Studies. Currently, Timo is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Psychotherapy at the Prague College of Psychosocial Studies, which they anticipate completing in 2025. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Timo has obtained various certifications and completed training programs in areas such as psychology, linguistics, and professional development.
