Mark Pountney

Mark Pountney is an experienced Chief Information Officer currently leading the IT and Data function at Mencap since September 2021, overseeing the full IT portfolio from strategy to operational delivery. Previously, Mark held roles at London Business School from January 2013 to September 2021, including Director of Digital Technology and Director of Business Technology and Innovation, managing a team of 25 to support the institution's expansion plans. Additional experience includes serving as Head of IST at Southbank Centre, where Mark managed IT services for the largest Arts Centre in the UK, and as Head of IT at Action on Hearing Loss, responsible for IT services across 70+ offices. Mark's academic background includes multiple degrees in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture, Latin American Politics, and Development Economics.
