Jose Maria Zas

Jose Maria Zas is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently, Zas serves as a Boardmember at HSBC, Chairman at Mendel, and Industry Advisor at Advent International, among other directorial positions. Previously, Zas was the President & CEO of American Express for Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and the Latin America and Caribbean Global Insurance Business for three decades. Zas has held significant leadership roles, including President of the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Business PhD from Universidad de Belgrano, an MBA from IAE Business School, and various executive programs from prestigious institutions such as Yale University and The Wharton School.
