Denise Sheldon

Denise Sheldon is a seasoned professional in sports management and athletic administration, serving as the Executive Director of Operations and Head Volleyball Coach at Menlo College since May 2017. Under Denise's leadership, the volleyball team became the 2019 Golden State Athletic Conference Champions, earning recognition as GSAC Coach of the Year and coaching two All-Americans. Denise also manages the sitting volleyball tournament for the Department of Defense Warrior Games and previously held significant roles with USA Volleyball, including managing the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team and overseeing high performance programs for 5,000 female athletes. Additionally, Denise founded and directed the Peninsula Juniors Volleyball Club, developing team policies and coaching education, and has extensive experience in admissions and development from a prior role at St. Francis High School. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master of Science in Sports Management from the American Public University System.
