Carlin Llorente

Carlin Llorente is a seasoned professional in educational strategy and program development, currently serving as a Senior Strategist at Menlo Education Research since September 2024, focusing on expanding mathematics education partnerships. Prior experience includes serving as the Senior Vice President of Programs at FareStart, where efforts were directed towards relaunching in-person training post-pandemic and leading a team of 32 to support vulnerable community members. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Washington STEM from June 2017 to January 2022, Carlin developed a successful $10M+ network strategy aimed at creating systems-level change. Additional roles include leadership positions at SRI International, where Carlin oversaw research programs and DEI efforts, and at Education Development Center, managing substantial technical assistance projects for the U.S. Department of Education. Carlin holds an Ed.M. in Human Development from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College.
