James Goebel

Chief Architect/Partner at Menlo Innovations

James Goebel has over 30 years of work experience. James began their career as a Scientific Software Sculptor at Gene Codes in 1989. In 1995, they became a Managing Consultant at AppNet, where they led teams as software architect for firms such as Acuson and Interface Systems. In 2000, they moved to Commerce One as Practice Director. In 2001, they joined Menlo Innovations as Chief Architect/Partner, where they managed the process of creating software user interfaces and worked with the sales team to evaluate potential clients. Finally, in 2012, they became an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan, College of Engineering, Center for Entrepreneurship.

James Goebel received their BS in Computer Science, Math, and Business from Eastern Michigan University between 1984 and 1989. James then went on to complete their MBA in Organizational Change from Eastern Michigan University between 1997 and 2004.
