Naomi Coronel has over 13 years of work experience, beginning with a Summer Intern role at Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2004. Naomi then worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Welding and Joining Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2007. In 2008, they held a Summer Intern role at Xinetics, Inc. in the Engineered Materials department, as well as an Undergraduate Researcher role at the Electronic Materials Research Group of MIT. From 2009 to 2015, they worked as a Graduate Researcher at Caltech's Atwater Research Group. Naomi then held a Sr. Reliability Engineer role at Cymer from 2015 to 2022, and is currently employed as a Sr. Quality & Reliability Engineer at Menlo Micro.
Naomi Coronel received their Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2005 and 2009. Naomi then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science from Caltech in 2015. In 2021, they obtained an ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer certification from ASQ - World Headquarters.
