Nicholas Yost has worked in a variety of industries over the past two decades. In 2001, they began their career as an IT Technical Assistant at Averill Park Central School District. In 2005, they became a Media Manager at Worden Safety Products LLC, where they managed photo and video of products for the company catalogue, website, and commercials. In 2008, they worked as a PECVD Operator at Yoh, operating plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition equipment for the transition of GE's Digital Mammography program. From 2010 to 2022, they worked at GE Research as a Research Engineer, Microsystems Engineer, and Electronics Technician in the Microsystems Testing & Characterization lab. Currently, they are a Senior RF Test Engineer at Menlo Micro.
Nicholas Yost obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Applied Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Electrical Technology: Semiconductor Manufacturing from Hudson Valley Community College between 2006 and 2008. Nicholas also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from GE.
