Risa Stack

Risa Stack is currently an advisor at Menlo Micro, a position they have held since March of 2022. Prior to that, they were an entrepreneur in residence at RA Capital Management, L.P. from October 2020 to March 2022, where they developed relaxin as a potential treatment option for patients with acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF). From December 2017 to August 2020, Ms. Stack was a member of the Board of Directors at Drawbridge Health, where they helped the company provide a more comfortable and convenient blood draw experience for patients. Additionally, Ms. Stack served on the board of directors for Vineti from January 2017 to December 2018.

Ms. Stack has also held several other notable positions throughout their career. Risa is a co-founder, member of the Board of Directors, and advisor at Menlo Micro. Additionally, they served as the managing director at RS Bioventures from October 2018 to October 2020. Lastly, Ms. Stack was a member of the Board of Directors at Avitas Systems, a BHGE venture, from January 2017 to September 2018.

Risa Stack completed their Ph.D in Immunology at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Risa also completed a Kauffman Fellowship. Risa Stack holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) with Distinction in Genetics and Development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
