Mel Parson

Mel Parson has extensive experience in communications and marketing, currently serving as the Communication Coordinator at Menno Haven since July 2013, with additional roles as Independent Living Coordinator, Editor, and in Communications. Responsibilities include overseeing newsletter content and production, managing social media, designing ads, and participating in various committees, including the Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce. Previously, Mel held the position of Dining Manager & Event Coordinator at The Orchards Restaurant from February 2006 to August 2022, where duties encompassed customer service, staff training, event coordination, and social media management. Mel holds a diploma from Chambersburg Area Senior High School and has further education from West Virginia University.
