Janet Mumassabba

Janet Mumassabba is an experienced professional currently serving as the Regional Operational Manager at MEDA since August 2016, where responsibilities include supporting project implementation and advising donors through field visits. Previously, as a Business Development Specialist and SME Adviser, Janet managed the M-Sawa project across 13 Counties in Kenya, overseeing grant design and implementation for various business partnerships. Janet has also contributed to academia as a Lecturer at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, teaching subjects related to Agribusiness and Economics. With experience managing the Cotton Made in Africa initiative at IREN Kenya, Janet played a key role in increasing the market share of organically grown cotton in Africa. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Strategic Management and a BBA in Business Management from respected institutions.
