Jonathan Yelevielbayire is an accomplished professional in agricultural development and market facilitation, currently serving as Agriculture Value Chain Manager/Technical Lead at Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) since December 2021. Under Jonathan's leadership, the GROW2 Project aims to enhance food security for 40,000 smallholder women farmers and entrepreneurs. Prior to MEDA, Jonathan held roles including Business Development & Market Linkages Advisor at SNV, contributing to the GrEEn project focusing on sustainable local economies, and Market Development Specialist at Nathan Associates, implementing the MADE Programme to improve market systems for smallholder farmers in Northern Ghana. Previous experiences also include positions at the Association of Church Development Projects and Masara N'Arziki Farmers Association, along with a role at the Ghana Environmental Protection Agency. Jonathan holds an MPhil in Environment and Resource Management from the University for Development Studies and a B.Sc. in Natural Resources Management and Policy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
