Wendy Clayson, CPA, CMA

Wendy Clayson, CPA, CMA has a diverse work experience in finance and leadership roles. Wendy is currently serving as the Chief Financial & Investment Officer at MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates) since September 2021. Prior to this, they were the Chair of the Board of Directors at Michael House Pregnancy Care Centre from 2018 (ongoing). From 2019 to 2021, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at CarePartners and previously as the Executive Lead - Finance at Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network from 2019 to 2019. Wendy has also worked as a Consultant on contract at Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network from 2017 to 2018 and as the Treasurer at Michael House from 2013 to 2018. Other notable roles they held include Interim Director, Finance at Joseph Brant Hospital & Foundation in 2017 and Chair of Regional Steering Committee at Start2Finish Online from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, they served as a Volunteer Mentor at WW Community Futures Development Corp from 2014 to 2017 and as Interim CFO at CarePartners in 2014.

Wendy Clayson, CPA, CMA has a strong education history. In 1982, they attended Fanshawe College, where they earned a Diploma in Business Administration. Wendy then went on to study at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 1987 to 1998. During this time, they completed the Advanced Program in Human Resources Management. In 2017, Wendy Clayson furthered their education at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management by completing the Not for Profit Governance Essentials Program.
