Dan Mortensen boasts over 30 years of administrative leadership experience, primarily in executive roles within higher education. Currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Mennonite Home Communities since June 2017, Mortensen previously held various senior positions at the University of Valley Forge, including Executive Vice President, where supervision of other Vice Presidents was key in areas such as student affairs, finance, and development. Additionally, Mortensen has extensive experience in finance and student life, having served as Vice President of Finance & Administration at Southeastern University and Vice President of Student Affairs at Vanguard University of Southern California. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Claremont Graduate University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California.

Woodcrest Villa,our residential living continuing care retirement community, is designed to provide retirement living to persons who have attained the age of 60 years or older without regard to race, creed, color, gender, national origin, handicapped or other status protected under applicable law. At Mennonite Home, we offer rehabilitation care following illness, injury or surgery, respite care, personal care and skilled nursing. We also offer a full complement of therapy services at both campuses.
