Therese Stoveland-Alfsen

Therese Stoveland-Alfsen currently serves as Director at Menon Economics since April 2025. Prior to this, Stoveland-Alfsen worked as a Prosjektleder/Seniorrådgiver at Bufdir from February 2021 to April 2025 and held the position of Prosjektutvikler at Fundatum from January 2020 to February 2021. Stoveland-Alfsen has also faced health challenges, being on sick leave due to chronic migraine from February 2019 to February 2021. From February 2016 to February 2019, Stoveland-Alfsen was a Seniorrådgiver at Barne-, ungdoms- og familieetaten, region øst, and previously served as Generalsekretær/National Director at Youth For Understanding Norge from December 2013 to February 2016. Stoveland-Alfsen's experience includes a role as Seniorrådgiver at Bufdir from August 2010 to August 2013, focusing on the agency's quality development program. Earlier roles include Projektkoordinator at Forum for samtidshistorie, Universitetet i Oslo, and Rådgiver at APELAND. Stoveland-Alfsen holds a Master of Arts in History from the University of Oslo and was a Brittingham Viking Scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
