Ghizala Avan

Ghizala Avan is an accomplished Programme Manager for the Mental Health Foundation in Scotland since October 2020, with extensive experience as a Researcher and Trainer at Ex Anima Training & Research Consultancy since January 2002. Avan has a rich background in the creative arts, having worked as an actor in various television, theatre, and film projects since June 2004. Previous leadership roles include Acting Co CEO at Amina MWRC from November 2018 to October 2020 and Programme Development Officer at Voluntary Action Fund from June 2015 to October 2018, where efforts focused on addressing sectarianism.
