Bao Vang has extensive experience in the mental health and education fields, currently serving as a Medica SNBC Care Coordinator at Mental Health Resources Inc since September 2018. Previously, Bao Vang held multiple roles at MHR, Inc., starting as a Care Coordinator and later becoming a Mental Health Case Manager from February 2017 to the present. Earlier work experience includes positions as a Co-facilitator at Metro Social Services, Inc., a Paraprofessional at New Millennium Academy, and a Program Specialist at Boys and Girls Clubs of Oceanside. Bao Vang earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities between 2006 and 2010.

MHR collaborates with clients and families to facilitate learning and growth for individuals, families and the community and to foster client empowerment and expectation of success. We believe that people with mental illness can learn to lead full lives in the community. We challenge ourselves and the larger community to address barriers that inhibit their independence, growth, and recovery.
