Emre Ozgunduz

Emre Ozgunduz has a strong background in education and technology. In 2005, they started their career as a Research Assistant at Yıldız Technical University, where they worked on the development of the university. In 2008, they co-founded Ayasis Yazılım ve Bilişim Teknoloji. However, their main achievement came in 2014, when they co-founded MentalUP, an educational app that has been used by over 5 million students in 60 countries. In their role as Co-Founder & Managing Partner, they oversaw the development of the app, which consists of entertaining exercises and games aimed at improving cognitive skills in children aged 5-13. MentalUP was developed by a team of game designers and academicians, incorporating pedagogical approaches.

Emre Ozgunduz has a strong educational background in computer engineering. Emre obtained their Associate's Degree from Yildiz Technical University between 2001 and 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in the same field from the same institution, completing it from 2005 to 2008. Emre further advanced their academic qualifications by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Engineering from Yildiz Technical University between 2008 and 2016.
