Shir Gur

Shir Gur has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Master Student at Ben Gurion University of the Negev in 2014 and continued as a Computer Vision M.Sc. Student at the interdisciplinary Computational Vision Lab from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, Shir joined Tel Aviv University for a Ph.D. program, working under the supervision of Prof. Lior Wolf until 2021. During this time, they also had a research internship at Facebook AI in 2020. From 2006 to 2018, Shir served in the Israeli Air Force (IAF). Currently, they hold the position of AI Researcher at Mentee Robotics and have recently taken on the role of Chief Technology Officer from October 2022.

Shir Gur earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2009. In 2014, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the same university. Most recently, Shir Gur completed their education at Tel Aviv University, earning a Phd in Computer Science in 2021.
