Manos Perakakis

Manos Perakakis has a long history of work experience. Manos started in 1994 as a Game Developer and Project Leader for Cybertech Creations / MLS Πληροφορικής. In 2004, they took on two roles, Web Developer for ENCODE and Co-owner & Web Designer/Developer for asxetos.gr. In 2006, they were a Lecturer for the Technological Educational Institute of Crete. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Researcher for the e-Business Intelligence Lab. Manos then moved to Brunel University London in 2011 as a PhD Researcher. In 2015, they became a Co-Founder of Mentionlytics. Most recently, they have been an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the Hellenic Mediterranean University since 2019.

Manos Perakakis completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Internet connected TV from Brunel University London between 2011 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Advanced Computing from the University of Bristol between 2000 and 2001. Manos also earned a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Essex between 1996 and 1999.
