Adam Smith

Adam Smith is currently the Commercial Director at Mentor FLT Training. Adam has been in this role since April of 2018. Prior to that, they were the Training Solutions Manager UK for Jungheinrich UK Ltd from April 2015 to April 2018. In that role, they were responsible for offering complete training packages for all material handling equipment and other logistical needs. Adam managed a team of coordinators, administrators, and trusted suppliers in order to grow the company's market share year over year. Adam also oversaw six training centers located across the UK and was responsible for providing professional training material, course content, and sales support literature.

Before their time at Jungheinrich, Adam was the Business Development Manager (South) at Mentor FLT Training Limited from May 2007 to March 2015. In that role, they were responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships in the Southern region of the UK. Adam also created and delivered sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.

Adam began their career in January of 2005 as a Technical Administrator at Northern Foods. In January of 2007, they took on the role of Specification Technologist at Addo Food Group where they worked until April of that year when they began working at Mentor FLT Training Limited.

Adam Smith is a certified QMS auditor from Alcumus, a certified instructor from AITT, and a certified instructor from ITSSAR. Adam has an AVCE in advanced business and computing from Chesterfield College.

Adam Smith reports to Stuart Taylor, Managing Director. They are on a team with Chris Benbow - Finance Director, Adam Cox - Quality Manager & HR Support.
