Director Of Informational Technology And Innovation at Mentor Public Schools

Mike Lynch has a diverse work experience in the education field. Mike started their career as an Educator at Mentor Public Schools in 1997 and worked there until 2004. In 2006, they became an Elementary School Principal at the same school, where they provided leadership for 60 employees and implemented various initiatives to enhance student success. From 2014 to 2018, they served as the Director of Straight A Initiatives, responsible for managing projects funded by a $13.8 million grant. Mike oversaw the construction of a professional development center, media center redesign, and classroom updates. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Director of Informational Technology and Innovation. Additionally, Lynch has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Ursuline College since 2010, teaching courses related to educational administration.

Mike Lynch completed their Bachelor's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Baldwin Wallace University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Mike then pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Cleveland State University, attending from 1999 to 2001. Finally, Mike completed another Master's Degree, this time in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, from Ursuline College between 2004 and 2006.
