Joellen Spacek

Joellen Spacek is the current Senior Director of the Affiliate Network at MENTOR. Joellen has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on mentoring and youth development. Joellen began their career as a Campaign Coordinator for United Way of the Midlands, before moving to Greater Twin Cities United Way as Director of Research and Development. In 1994, they became Executive Director of Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota, where they led the organization in providing quality mentoring experiences to young people across the state. In 2009, they secured a masters degree through a Leadership Fellowship with the Bush Foundation, exploring the regionalization of mentoring services in the Midwest. Spacek has been with MENTOR since 2011, where they currently lead the Affiliate Network.

Joellen Spacek began their educational career by obtaining a BA in marketing communications from Creighton University. Joellen then went on to obtain a Masters in Public Affairs from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, with a focus in public policy and non-profit management.
