Kendele (Carney) Hickombottom has over 12 years of experience in marketing and client services. In 2009, they began their career as an Intern in the Consulting Division at IMG. Kendele (Carney) then moved to the Chicago White Sox, where they served as a Coordinator of Client Services. In 2013, they joined the Chicago Wolves as a Client Services Manager of Partnerships, where they managed sponsorships and account management efforts and developed strategic initiatives and assets. In 2015, they moved to Comcast as a Manager of Community Accounts. In 2017, they joined the Atlanta Hawks as a Manager of Partnership Marketing, managing sports partnerships across the telecommunications, banking and retail categories. In 2018, they became the Lead Director of Partnership Marketing at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, leading marketing strategy for national office partnerships, including Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Comcast, Lenovo, and Raytheon Technologies. In 2022, they were appointed as the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at MentorcliQ.

Kendele (Carney) Hickombottom completed their Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2007. Kendele (Carney) then went on to pursue their Master of Science in Sports Management from Canisius College in 2008, and completed it in 2009.
