Rory Fidler has over 27 years of work experience, starting in 1994 with Thomas Cook Group plc as a Project Manager Group Lead. Rory then moved on to IBM as a Systems Test Manager in 1997, where they managed a team of business testers and oversaw testing environments for the Continuous Linked Settlement System. From 2000 to 2002, Fidler worked at Travelex as the Head of IT Projects, responsible for managing 42 projects across global divisions. Rory then joined American Express in 2002 as a Project Manager, where they implemented a Cash Management System for the International Payments Division. In 2003, Fidler founded Magenta Solutions, a software solutions company, where they served as Director until 2007. From 2008 to 2021, Fidler worked at Etihad Airways, holding several roles such as Business Engagement Manager, Head of Technology and Innovation for the Etihad Cargo Division, and Application Project Manager. In 2021, they joined Menzies Aviation as the Vice President of Cargo Technology, leading all technology in the Cargo Division across multiple countries.
Rory Fidler completed a BA Hons degree in Information Systems and International Relations from Secondary School between 1991 and 1994. Later, in 1998, they pursued an IBM internal Professional Qualification. Additionally, they attended Woodhouse Grove School Leeds, although the specific time period is unknown.
