Han Santana-Sayles has a diverse work experience in various roles. In 2018, Han worked at Meow Wolf as the Director of Artist Collaboration, where they were responsible for recruiting and maintaining positive relationships with collaborating artists. They also developed programs and software to guide artists through the installation process and created software for cataloguing artists in the visual artist database.
Prior to that, in 2017, Han worked as a Freelance Community Arts Organizer, where they organized grassroots events, fundraisers, workshops, and arts-related programming in the Pikes Peak region. They co-founded various initiatives such as Keep Colorado Springs Queer, Bread! COS, Common Space Collective, and Cloud Factory, all focused on promoting and supporting the arts in the community.
From 2015 to 2017, Han worked at Mountain Fold Books as a Manager. In this role, they managed marketing, oversight, and fundraising for the poetry bookstore and art gallery. They also hosted weekly literary events and managed employees and volunteers.
Han Santana-Sayles obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Comparative Literature from Colorado College. They attended this institution from 2011 to 2015.
