Michael Kopelman

Michael Kopelman has held various leadership positions in finance and planning throughout their career. Their most recent role was as the Chief Financial Officer at Meow Wolf starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Maven Clinic from August 2020 to July 2022. From October 2018 to July 2020, they worked as the Global Head of Planning at WeWork. Before that, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Finance and Strategic Planning at HBO from October 2016 to September 2018. Michael also has extensive experience in investor relations, having worked as the Senior Vice President - Investor Relations at Time Warner Inc. from February 2009 to September 2016. Michael began their career in equity research at Merrill Lynch, where they held the position of Senior Director, covering media companies in the US and Latin America. Michael also worked as an Equity Research Associate at Robertson Stephens.

Michael Kopelman began their education by attending Claremore High School from 1991 to 1995. Michael then went on to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Oklahoma, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. In 1998 and 1999, Mr. Kopelman also spent some time at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, although the specific degree or field of study is not mentioned.

In 2001, Michael Kopelman had the opportunity to be a Fulbright Scholar at Universidad ORT Uruguay, where they focused on International Business and Economic Integration for a year.

Additionally, in 2006, Mr. Kopelman obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
