Thomas Wollmann

Thomas Wollmann is a highly experienced technology executive with a strong background in machine learning and computer science. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Machine Learning Engineering at Merantix Momentum since January 2020, Thomas oversees engineering teams, technical strategy, and deep learning research. In addition, Thomas is a Director at Pawelka & Wollmann Solutions since 2016. Thomas's prior experience includes roles as a Senior Machine Intelligence Engineer and a PhD candidate at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, focusing on automated analysis and visualization of high-content phenotype screening data. Other significant positions held include Research Assistant at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center and Bosch Engineering GmbH, and Thomas holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science, a Master of Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Computer Science from Heidelberg University, along with an engineering physics qualification from Berufliches Gymnasium Lore-Lorenz-Schule.
