Maíra Bastos

Maíra Bastos started their work experience at TozziniFreire Advogados in 2008 as a legal intern and then became an attorney specializing in Administrative Law. Maíra worked there until 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Arap, Nishi & Uyeda Advogados as an attorney specializing in Administrative and Regulatory Law. Maíra then moved to Vella Pugliese Buosi e Guidoni Advogados in 2014, where they continued their work in Administrative and Regulatory Law until 2015. After that, they joined Cetip agora é B3 as a senior attorney specializing in Regulatory and Product Law from 2015 to 2018. Maíra then returned to Arap, Nishi & Uyeda Advogados in 2018 as a senior attorney specializing in Administrative and Regulatory Law until 2021. Maíra'smost recent position is with Mercado Bitcoin, where they started as a Regulatory and Product Legal Specialist in 2021 and then became a Regulatory and Product Legal Manager in 2023.

Maíra Bastos began their education journey by earning a Bachelor's degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, which they completed from 2005 to 2009. In 2014 and 2015, they pursued a postgraduate program in Infrastructure Law from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Currently, from 2021 to 2023, they are studying at Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, working towards a Master's degree in Law (LLM) with a specialization in Financial and Capital Markets Law.
