Marcos Garcia

Marcos Garcia's work experience begins in 2014 as an Auxiliar Administrativo at Grupo JRM - Distribuidor Heineken. In 2015, they worked as an Auxiliar Financeiro at Grupo JRM (Brasil Kirin) before being promoted to Coordenador Financeiro, where they achieved a record low in the Unit's delinquency rate.

In 2018, Marcos joined Museu Da Gula - Comércio De Bebidas e Alimentos as a Financial Assistant, later promoted to Analista Financeiro JR. Marcos successfully created a bot to automate title processing, reducing processing time and errors significantly.

In 2021, Marcos shifted their career to software engineering and joined Mercado Bitcoin as a Junior Software Engineer. Marcos specialized in Python and various related technologies, developing backend solutions, creating REST APIs, and working with databases. In 2022, they were promoted to Mid Software Engineer, where they designed and developed software applications using Python and Golang, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and ensured software quality.

Marcos Garcia completed their Bachelor of Administration degree, specializing in Business Administration, from Universidade Federal do Pará. Marcos attended the university from 2013 to 2017.

Prior to that, Marcos attended Instituto Federal do Pará - IFPA from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Technical degree in Informatics.

In terms of certifications, Marcos has achieved various levels of proficiency in English from EF English First, including EF Level 15 - Advanced - CEFR Level C1, EF Level 14 - Advanced - CEFR Level C1, EF Level 13 - Advanced - CEFR Level C1, EF Level 12 - Upper Intermediate - CEFR Level B2, and EF Level 11 - Upper Intermediate - CEFR Level B2. These certifications were obtained between February and June 2023.

Furthermore, Marcos has obtained certifications in programming and cybersecurity. Marcos completed the "Problem Solving (Intermediate)" certification from HackerRank in May 2022. In the same month, they completed the course "Programação em Python do básico ao avançado" from Udemy and "Programação em Python do básico ao avançado" from Geek University. In April 2022, Marcos achieved a certification in "Python (Basic)" from HackerRank, and in March 2022, they obtained a certification in "Problem Solving (Basic)" from HackerRank. Additionally, they have certifications in "Segurança Web: Vulnerabilidades do seu sistema e OWASP" from Alura (August 2021), "Linux II: Programas, processos e pacotes" from Alura (July 2021), "Linux I: Conhecendo e utilizando o terminal" from Alura (June 2021), and "Flask parte 1: Crie uma webapp com Python 3" from Alura (May 2021).
