Thiago Bottignon

Thiago Bottignon has a diverse work experience in various roles and responsibilities. Thiago started their career as an Estagiário - Suporte Técnico at CTI Renato Archer in 2004. Thiago also worked as an Estagiário - Suporte Técnico at CPqD from April 2006 to August 2006. Following that, they served as an Estagiário - Analista de Requisitos at CPqD from August 2006 to January 2008, where they were responsible for requirements gathering and change management for various modules.

In January 2008, Thiago became an Analista de Banco de Dados at CPqD, leading a data analysis team. Thiago was involved in data migration projects and integration of different systems. Thiago continued in this role until October 2011.

In 2011, Thiago joined CPFL Energia as an Analista de Serviços de TI Sr. and contributed to the IT services until December 2016. During their tenure, they took on various responsibilities, including Coordenador de Sistemas Corporativos, where they supervised a team of over 30 professionals. Thiago was responsible for the evolution, maintenance, and support of multiple systems, as well as overseeing the Project Office and Automation Testing team.

From August 2017 to May 2019, Thiago served as the Coordenador de Sistemas SAP CCS, leading a multidisciplinary team of more than 50 people. Thiago was responsible for the evolution, maintenance, and support of SAP IS-U/CCS and SAP CRM systems for CPFL Energia.

Thiago then took on the role of Gerente de Operações de Serviços Financeiros at CPFL Energia from May 2019 to June 2021. Thiago led the project to create the credit marketplace and the fintech (SCD) for the CPFL group. Thiago bridged the gap between development teams and business areas, and was responsible for the operation of third-party services billing and collection for CPFL Energia.

Currently, Thiago works at Mercado Bitcoin as Head de Operações, starting from June 2021.

Thiago Bottignon completed their education in two stages. From 2006 to 2008, they attended IBTA - Campinas, where they pursued a degree in Analista de Sistemas (Systems Analyst) with a specialization in Tecnologia da Informação (Information Technology). Following that, from 2010 to 2011, Thiago pursued a Pós-Graduação (Post-Graduation) degree in Gestão Estratégica em TI (Strategic IT Management) at Wyden.
