Omar Nápoles

Omar Nour is a Senior Researcher at C-DRiVeS Lab, focusing on LiDAR Localization and Mapping for Autonomous Vehicles through thesis research since February 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an MS Dynamics CRM Developer at EJADA, a Software Development Engineer at Siemens EDA, and multiple positions within the IEEE GUC Student Branch, covering Cyber Security, Technical Community, Arduino, and Data Science from March 2021 to July 2023. Omar also served as a Junior Teaching Assistant at The German University in Cairo, assisting students with algorithmic problems in Java. Early experience includes working as a Backend Software Engineer at Lnkr Technologies. Education is being pursued at The German University in Cairo, where Omar is working towards a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, expected to graduate in 2025.
