Muhammad Khorshed Alam

Muhammad Khorshed Alam has over 21 years of experience in the banking industry. Muhammad Khorshed started their career in 2002 at Brac Bank Limited, where they held various roles, including Senior Manager in the Internal Audit department. Khorshed implemented a Risk Based Audit (RBA) framework and demonstrated dedication to the organization's values. In 2013, they joined Mercantile Bank Limited as Head of Internal Audit & Inspection, later transitioning to the role of Head of General Banking Division and Central Customer Service & Complaint Management Cell. Muhammad Khorshed developed guidelines for efficient customer service and complaint management, identified weaknesses in operational processes, and streamlined operations. Khorshed has a strong background in internal audit and risk management.

Muhammad Khorshed Alam completed their MBA in Finance from East West University in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their MSS & BSS Hons. degree in Economics from National University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Their secondary education was completed at Govt. Laboratory High School, Comilla, where they received their SSC degree in Science from 1984 to 1988.
