Laksanda Gunawardena

Laksanda Gunawardena is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC. Prior to this, Laksanda held various positions at People's Leasing & Finance PLC, including Deputy General Manager Marketing & Business Development, Deputy General Manager Operations, and Assistant General Manager Operations. Laksanda also served as the Head of the corporate leasing unit of the company from 2002 to 2010. Additionally, Laksanda worked as a Director at Lankan Alliance Finance and as a Manager at Mercantile Leasing ltd. Laksanda is currently pursuing a Certified Management Accountant degree from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia, and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
