François-Xavier Lemire has over 8 years of work experience in various roles and industries. François-Xavier is currently the Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer at Mercantile, where they focus on helping small and medium-sized businesses maintain their independence. Prior to this, François-Xavier worked as a Software Development Team Lead and Senior Software Developer at Zendesk from 2019 to 2021. François-Xavier also founded Webjomp in 2016 and served as the Founder until 2021. François-Xavier has experience as a Software Developer at Smooch.io and as a Co-Founder at Kopi. Additionally, they have interned at Vungle as a Software Engineering Intern and at Beenox as a Gameplay Programmer Intern. François-Xavier also gained valuable experience as a Technology Summer Analyst at Morgan Stanley and as a Curriculum Tester at Hardcoder Labs. François-Xavier started their professional journey as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at McGill University in 2013.

In 2007, François-Xavier Lemire started their education at Université de Montréal, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Law. François-Xavier completed their degree in 2010.

Later in 2010, François-Xavier Lemire attended the School of Quebec Bar to obtain a Professional degree in Law.

From 2012 to 2015, François-Xavier Lemire studied at McGill University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science.

In 2014, François-Xavier Lemire briefly attended the National University of Singapore, also pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science.

Additionally, outside of their formal education, François-Xavier Lemire acquired certifications. In July 2015, they obtained the "breaking-the-ice-with-regular-expressions" certification from Code School. In June 2015, they also obtained the "Learn Apache Spark From Scratch" certification from Eduonix Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd.
