Kamila Koshimkhan

Research Fellowship at Mercatus Center

Kamila Koshimkhan is a dedicated researcher with experience in political economy and governance. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University since June 2023, Kamila engages in academic and policy research. At Nazarbayev University, Kamila has held various roles, including Research Assistant focusing on anti-Chinese sentiments and the Belt and Road Initiative, a Writing Center Intern providing peer tutoring, and contributing to research on governance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Kamila assisted the Admission Department with candidate consulting and document processing. Kamila holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from Nazarbayev University, with prior education at Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and participation in a summer program at Columbia University.
