Development Engineer: Project Lead BEV Customer Features Drive & Charge at Mercedes-AMG

Roberth Eichner has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Roberth currently works at Mercedes-AMG GmbH as a Development Engineer, leading projects related to battery electric vehicle customer features. Before joining Mercedes-AMG, they worked at AUDI AG for a total of 12 years. During their time at AUDI AG, they held various roles, including Development Engineer in the eDrive & Energy department, Technical Benchmarking Engineer in the e-Mobility/high-voltage battery systems field, and Technical Product Support Engineer in Powertrain Quality Management. Prior to that, Roberth worked at Audi of America as a Vehicle Testing Engineer. Roberth also gained experience during their time at Kautex Textron as an Engineering Intern, specializing in SCR/AdBlue fuel tanks. Roberth started their career as an Engineering Intern at AUDI AG, where they focused on powertrain development. Additionally, they worked part-time at Sachverständigenbüro Bernd Büsgen as a vehicle expert during their studies, and completed an apprenticeship as an automotive electrician expert at ARG Auto-Rheinland-GmbH.

Roberth Eichner obtained their High School Diploma (Abitur) from Nicolaus Cusanus Gymnasium - Bonn in 2001. Roberth then pursued an apprenticeship in Automotive Electrician Expert (Gesellenbrief KFZ-Elektriker) at VW-Group/Audi sales&service company from 2002 to 2005. During the same period, they also completed a training program in Business Administration (Fachkaufmann/Betriebsassistent) at Heinrich-Hertz-Berufskolleg der Stadt Bonn. In 2005, they enrolled at Cologne University of Applied Sciences and graduated in 2010 with a degree in Automotive Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur). Roberth Eichner further obtained various additional certifications, including being a Competitor Participant in Formula Student Germany and Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit in 2009, acquiring an Elektrofachkraft Fahrzeugtechnik certification in 2012, and completing VDI ELEVATOR Programm in 2008.
