Peter Hackett

Peter Hackett has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, particularly with Mercedes-Benz. Peter started their career in 1995 as a Race Driver, Media Spokesperson, and Australian GT Champion for Peter Hackett Racing. In 2001, they joined Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific as the Chief Driving Instructor, where they are responsible for delivering driving programs and overseeing a team of driving professionals. As part of this role, Peter presents to clients, provides safety briefings, and is often called upon to present to the media. Peter has also been featured in advertisements for Mercedes-Benz Finance. In 2015, Peter announced plans to return to GT racing and formed a new team to compete in the 2016 Australian GT Championship.

Peter Hackett holds a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology from UNSW.
