Diederik van Essen

Diederik van Essen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Diederik started their career at IBM as a Project Controller from 2008 to 2010. Diederik then moved on to Garmendia Consulting Group, where they served as the Business Operations Manager for the UK and Ireland from 2011 to 2014. Following this, Diederik worked as the COO at TradeMachines from 2014 to 2015. Diederik later joined Klickrent GmbH as the Head of Business Development & Sales from 2015 to 2017. Currently, Diederik holds a position at Mercedes-Benz Automotive Mobility GmbH as a Senior Product Manager Rental since 2017. In March 2021, they were promoted to Project Lead.

Diederik van Essen completed their education with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in International Business and Languages from HAN University of Applied Sciences in the year 2006. Diederik then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in International Marketing from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin for a year, from 2005 to 2006. Finally, they obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in European Union Law from the University of Amsterdam, completing their studies in 2010.
