Marwan Cherri

Marwan Cherri has extensive experience in the financial services industry, particularly in positions related to operations and business controls. Marwan is currently the Head of Credit Operations at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC, a role they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Operations at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada Corporation from June 2019 to December 2021. Before that, Marwan held the position of Head of Business Controls Americas at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC from September 2015 to May 2019. Marwan also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Mercedes-Benz Finance Japan, Co., Ltd from May 2013 to August 2015, and as the General Manager of Business Controls at Daimler South East Asia Pte. Ltd. from September 2011 to April 2013. Marwan's work experience also includes roles such as National Projects Manager at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada Corporation from May 2007 to August 2011, and Pricing and Reporting Manager at DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Canada from January 2004 to April 2007. Marwan Cherri holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a major in Finance and Strategic Management from McGill University, which they completed from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from HEC Montréal between 1997 and 2000. Additionally, Marwan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from EHL during the period of 1989 to 1993. Recently, they completed a course on "Fintech Revolution: Transformative Financial Services and Strategies" at Wharton Online in 2021.
